About Football For Future
Football For Future is a UK-based non-profit driving global climate action through football culture.
Our work spans campaigns, research, analysis, education, and player engagement — using the world’s most popular sport to make climate change visible, relatable, and actionable.
Alongside our climate work, we are developing innovative football-based educational programmes that use the game as a platform for learning, personal development and cultural exchange.
This summer, we are delivering a new three-day programme for young people that combines football, sustainability, culture and personal development through workshops, guest speakers and unique experiences across the game.
We are looking for a Programme & Outreach Coordinator to help make that happen.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and organised Programme & Outreach Coordinator to help ensure the successful delivery of the Football For Future Summer Academy.
The programme has already been designed. The focus now is on recruiting participants, coordinating logistics, managing communications and making sure everything is in place ahead of delivery.
This is not a facilitation role. Instead, you'll help bring together the people, plans and processes needed to deliver a successful programme. You will act as the organisational hub of the project, helping turn a well-developed concept into a successful pilot programme.
What You’ll Do
Lead outreach to schools, football clubs, foundations and youth organisations to help recruit participants
Manage enquiries, registrations, participant onboarding and deposits
Coordinate speakers, activities, partners and programme logistics
Keep timelines, communications and actions organised across the wider team
Support budgeting, invoices, payments and general programme administration
What Success Looks Like
The programme recruits a strong cohort of participants
Speakers, activities and logistics are confirmed ahead of launch
Participant communications run smoothly
The team remains organised and aligned throughout planning
The programme is fully prepared for successful delivery
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
Proactive, organised and able to work independently
A strong communicator and relationship builder
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and stakeholders
Confident with spreadsheets, administration and budgeting
Interested in football, education, youth development or social impact
Experience in programme coordination, outreach, events, sport, education or community engagement is desirable.
