A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER
"Welcome to our final newsletter of 2025 - what a year it has been for FFF.
We launched our ground-breaking Pitches in Peril report. delivered many more workshops for young people and players, and continued to shape the conversation around football and climate change.
2026 will see us enter a World Cup year - it's looking like a huge year for football but also for conversations around football and sustainability. We are aiming to continue the impact of our Pitches in Peril report and wider work around climate risk and the World Cup in the run-up to the tournament kicking off in North America in the summer.
Thanks for all your support in 2025. A very merry Christmas from everyone at Football For Future - see you in 2026!"

CLIMATE STATS
Our mission is urgent. Here's why.
Catastrophic floods and landslides in Southeast Asia left more than 1,500 people dead and 1,000 missing. Climate change is increasing the intensity & frequency of heavy rain.
UN scientists have warned that this year is on track to be the second or third warmest globally, as an "unprecedented streak" of high temperatures persists.
But - despite the headlines in the West, climate policy is not in retreat. Globally, there are now nearly 1000 climate policies in place, the most there have ever been!
